It’s been a week since I launched Piggy and Pug out into internet space. The outpouring of support has been so wonderful but what has made me the happiest is the photos people are sending me of their kids reading my book (and in some cases, their pets “reading” it!) The whole process of self-publishing was exciting, scary, and overwhelming at times, but seeing kids enjoying my story definitely made it all worthwhile.
I’ve updated some info in the calendar section on here, and I will continue to do so as more things are confirmed. In the meantime, please enjoy my “I’m not crying, really” face when I saw my book on a “Local Author” display in Vroman’s Bookstore in Pasadena, CA this past weekend. I still can’t believe a thing I made is out there!!
